OBJECTIVES
The Institute of Agriculture Technology, is working with following objectives :-
- 1. Socio-Economic Development of farmers and rural youths using modern tools and techniques.
- 2. Enhancing Agriculture Production per unit area through input support services and capacity building.
- 3. Doubling farmer’s income by enhancing production and productivity, value addition, product development, processing and marketing of their produce at remunerative price.
- 4. Impart skill training and capacity building for skill and entrepreneurships development among rural youths.
- 5. Develop competent professionals through academic excellence for transforming higher education.
- 6. Contribute to agriculture management knowledge, skill, technologies through innovative research for establishing vibrant knowledge society with scientific temperament.
- 7. Strengthening of agriculture business management processes through executive education and consultancy
- 8. Inspire excellence and innovations with social responsibility committed to the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom and creativity.
- 9. Strive to contribute to regional and national policy making for Nation Building
- 10. Resurrection of Indigenous technology & knowledge in the field of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants, Environment & Forest, Health & Hygiene , Agriculture & Food Processing etc.
